Today, February 18 Vitriol Consult is one year old. Consider that we launched this business in the middle of a global crisis when people continued whining about lack of funds and were ready to spend nothing. Nevertheless, we were really blessed by God and work continued growing in the months to pass. We made really strong partnership connections with the ladies from Luxecetera, became more than partners with the great team at Flosites. We served around 80 different clients from US, Italy, UK, South Africa, Moldova, Romania and Russia. We became bigger and added up great people like Chris and Nikita that now are more family than a working team. We enlarged our specter of services and continued to improve the quality of our work pleasing clients at max power.

What are the plans for the next year, you will ask. We have some interesting ventures that will give us even more market share. In Italy we are to launch, by mid-March, a service dedicated to lawyers, called “Siti per avvocati“, in translation to English “Websites for lawyers” plus there are some other crazy ventures that we are braining as I am writing this post, but you will have to find out more about them in the next blog posts.

To conclude this, I am sincerely thankful to all of those that supported us in the past year, my mother that has been a great teacher to me, Ross for being a good buddy (even if we quarrel from time to time, I love you man!), Ashley for teaching me how to be a “smart ass”, Chris for coming around when we needed him most (Thanks Bro!!!), Andrea for being the best lawyer a company would want and to Nikita for being a great asset to the team. Please don’t be upset if I did not name you, but honestly I owe a piece of Vitriol to many people who were around me!

About a month ago, or maybe a bit more, I personally had the chance to sing with Denis while being on holiday in Moldova. I’m no singer, but I love those oldies that make your hair go straight. We were at this karaoke club and sang “My Way” together (personally this song represents a lot to me) and after, he had to show me their newly recorded song “Forever“. Who’s the girl, I exclaimed. The girl was Corina Cuniuc, still a 17 years old with a voice of an angel, a voice that one day could become another Mariah Carey. After meeting both of them and listening to their song on and on while on my way back to Italy (1700 mile drive) I decided that there is something we could for them. I strongly believed that these two need a chance to be seen by the world, but how to do that when there are no funds involved?!

What we did next, was the creation of an action plan for promoting these guys on the web, we set up their web site www.forever.md, set up their Facebook page and got them on Last.fm. Also, the guys from Masonic Network helped out with spreading the word plus we are now launching some articles around different portals. Also, thanks to the guys from CIOFilm we’ve made a rather nice music video for them, which you can see on their website.

Now they are performing somewhere for the Valentines Day, and I truly hope that St. Valentine will bring them a lot of success. Go ahead and visit their website and if you like their song leave them a supporting message which can mean so much to them!

It’s been a while since we started doing what we are best at, but never had a chance to get our hands dirty for our own needs. As they say, we were that “shoe maker without shoes”, until recently when we finally came to the decision that going on without shoes is no good! In fact, on Christmas Eve I was applying for the US visa to come to the States and the consular worker asked me a really intriguing question – “How come you own a web-design agency, and don’t have a website yourself?!” – and that was a really embarrassing question. Well, not more it is not, here is our site, built specially for your enjoyment!
